Telephone inquiries / calls on behalf of AGES
The BASG / AGES Medical Market Inspectorate became aware that pharmaceutical companies were contacted by telephone in the name of AGES, or by persons claiming to be AGES employees, in order to request personal or company-related data.
In this regard, we would like to inform you that we do not request personal or company-related data by telephone, nor do we commission or have commissioned third parties - in this specific case a call center - to do so.
Should someone contact you by telephone in the name of AGES or as an employee of AGES in order to request relevant data, we ask you to have this request confirmed by e-mail or to notify the Federal Office for Safety in Health Care / AGES Medical Market Surveillance of the request and/or existing contact data of the caller at the e-mail address basg@basg.gv.at.
After internal review of the data forwarded by you, we will contact you immediately.
Should the need arise, we will consider legal action after consultation.
