Information on gender-sensitive language use

For reasons of easier readability, both genders are not mentioned in some contents. Naturally, even if only the masculine form is used, persons of both the female and male sex are always meant equally.

In the meantime, other spellings have developed that not only target the female and male gender, but are also intended to encompass the diversity of a group of people. Where it is emphasized that all other gender identities should also feel welcome, a colon is now used (e.g., Mitarbeiter:innen).

In this way, all people, including those from the LGBTTIQ sector, are to be included and made visible. However, there is no clear recommendation for action here.

Greylisting

The AGES uses greylisting to defend itself against spam. Accordingly, only e-mails from servers that comply with the generally valid Internet standard RFC821 are accepted. See Greylisting for more information.

Incoming e-mails are automatically checked for spam or integrated malware (e.g. viruses, Trojans) or inadmissible file types. Attachments with viruses or illegal file types are automatically removed from the email and placed in a quarantine directory. In this case, both the sender and the recipient receive a notification.

The following file types as attachments are classified as invalid file types and are not accepted: Ade, adp, app, asf, asx, bas, bat, chm, cmd, com, cpl, crt, dll, exe, fxp, hlp, hta, hto, htt, inf, ini, ins, isp, jsp, lib, lnk, mid, mpg, mpe, mpeg, mp3, msc, msi, mso, msp, mst, ocx, pcd, php, pif, pps, prg, psf, qxd, rar, reg, scr, sct, sh, shb, shs, sys, url, vb, vbe, vbs, vcs, wk4, wmd, wms, wmz, wsc, wsf, wsh, xlt

Incoming and outgoing e-mails are subject to a maximum size limitation of 16MB (total e-mail, text and attachment/file).
