The marketing authorization holder has informed its supplied customers in a letter dated August 4, 2016, that after the application of "Nutriflex Lipid special Emulsion for Infusion " of the batch 160338052 individual cases of fever and chills have occurred. Since it cannot be ruled out at this time that the reported adverse reactions are related to a quality defect, the batch is being recalled as a precaution.
Any suspected adverse reaction should be reported to the Federal Office for Safety in Health Care, Traisengasse 5, 1200 Vienna, Fax: 050 555 -36207, www.basg.gv.at.
