The Federal Office for Safety in Health Care has been informed that confirmed autochthonous cases of Chikungunya have been recorded in Italy in the following regions:
Province of Bologna: Bentivoglio
Province of Modena:Carpi, San Prospero, Soliera
Province of Piacenza: Castel San Giovanni
Province of Verona: Affi, Negrar di Valpolicella, San Pietro in Cariano, Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella
