AUR DERM® CREMA & AUR DERM® MIMOZA
The Romanian products "AUR DERM® CREMA" and "AUR DERM® MIMOZA", which are distributed via international online sales platforms and various Romanian online pharmacies, are classified by the BASG as presentation drugs due to the labelling on the secondary packaging.
The classification as a presentation medicinal product is based on the following labelling:
- Treatment of psoriasis, shingles, eczema
- Treatment of allergies and badly healing burns
- For pain relief
- To facilitate wound healing
- Helpful in the treatment of acne and fungal infections
- Helpful in the treatment of herpes
An investigation by the Austrian Official Medicines Control Laboratory (OMCL) revealed that the respective medicinal products are counterfeit medicinal products since they contain the undeclared synthetic ingredients diclofenac, lidocaine, benzocaine, procaine, clobetasol propionate and ketoconazole.
