The Federal Office for Safety in Health Care has been informed by the ECDC (European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control) that human WNV infections have been recorded in Cyprus.
We therefore ask you to take this into account during anamnesis interviews and donor selections.
This letter corresponds to the current information available to the BASG. Further information will be provided as soon as it becomes available.
