The Federal Office for Safety in Health Care has been informed by the Italian authority that ID WNV NAT testing has been introduced in the following regions due to cases that have occurred:
Alessandria, Asti, Avellino, Bari, Barletta-Andria-Trani, Bergamo, Biella, Bologna, Brescia, Brindisi, Cagliari, Catania, Como, Cosenza, Cremona, Cuneo, Ferrara, Foggia, Forlì-Cesena, Genova, Gorizia, Imperia, Lecce, Lecco, Lodi, Macerata, Mantova, Matera, Milano, Modena, Monza-Brianza, Napoli, Novara, Nuoro, Oristano, Padova, Parma, Pavia, Piacenza, Pisa, Pordenone, Ravenna, Reggio Emilia, Rimini, Rovigo, Salerno, Sassari, Savona, Sondrio, Taranto, Torino, Trapani, Treviso, Udine, Varese, Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, Vercelli, Venezia, Verona, Vicenza
