The Federal Office for Safety in Health Carewas informed by the Romanian authority Romanian authority that a new confirmed case of of a human WNV-infection (neuro-invasive disease) in Romania, Scanteia (Ialomiţa county), was recorded.
It is therefore requested that appropriate attention be paid to this in the anamnesis interviews and donor selections. requested.
