The Federal Office for Safety in Health Carewas informed by the Romanian authority authority that further confirmed human WNV-infections (neuro-invasive disease) in Romania have been recorded.
The affected areas are Calafat and Basarabi (Dolj county),Slatina (Olt county), Galati (Galati county), Giurgiu (Giurgiu county), Braniste (Dambovita county), Beca (Teleorman county) and Bucharest sector 3.
Therefore, we ask you to pay attention to this in the medical history interviews and donor selections. requested
