To the Federal Office for Safety in the health care was given from the Hungarian authorityinformed that in Budapest as well as in the districts Pest, Bács-Kiskun, Békés, Borsod-Abaúj- Zemplén, Fejér, Györ-Moson Sopron, Heves, Hajdú-Bihar, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg and Veszprém confirmed human WNV cases (neuroinvasive disease) have been recorded have been recorded.
To corresponding attention in the anamnesis interviews and donor selections is therefore requested.
