West Nile Virus (WNV) - Romania New

The Federal Office for Safety in Health Care has been informed by the ECDC (European Centre for Disease
Prevention and Control) that human WNV infections have been recorded in Romania, in the Bukareşt region
.
We therefore ask you to take this into account in your anamnesis interviews and donor selections.
This letter corresponds to the current information status of the BASG. As soon as further information is available,
will be announced.
