The Federal Office for Safety in Health Care has been informed that confirmed human WNV infections have been recorded in Romania in the following regions:
Argeș, Bacău, Bihor, Bistriţa-Năsăud, Botoșani, Brăila, Bucharest, Buzău, Cluj, Constanta, Dambovita, Dolj, Giurgiu, Gorj, Iasi, Ialomița, Ilfov, Mureş, Olt, Prahova, Satu Mare, Sibiu, Suceava, Teleorman, Timiş, Tulcea, Vâlcea, Vaslui, Vrancea
