West Nile Virus (WNV) - Croatia New

The Federal Office for Safety in Health Care has been informed by the ECDC (European Centre for Disease
Prevention and Control) that human WNV infections have been recorded in Croatia, in the Osijek-Baranja region.
We therefore ask you to take this into account when taking medical histories and selecting donors.
This letter corresponds to the current information status of the BASG. As soon as further information is available,
will be announced.
