The BASG warns against the products „StartLife StartDetox Mixed Herbal Powder“, „StartLife Coffee Life“, „StartLife Hagebuttenkräutertee“ and „StartLife Zitronenkräutertee“ due to the non-declaration of the ingredient sibutramine. The marketing authorisations for medicinal products containing sibutramine have been withdrawn in Austria due to safety concerns, mainly due to an increased risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attack or stroke.
Importing these illegal drugs from abroad is a punishable offence.
