Gluconol

A supposed diabetes drug called Gluconol is offered on the internet via numerous advertising and sales sites. Gluconol is classified by the BASG as an illegal drug because of its claim.
There is no scientific data available to the BASG for the medical effectiveness of the product. A suspicion of fraud for this product cannot be ruled out.
Any information regarding these or similar, possibly illegal products, should be reported directly to the Enforcement Section of the Federal Office for Safety in Health Care at enforcement@basg.gv.at.
