European Sperm Bank – donor-8937 FREJ
The Federal Office for Safety in Health Care has been informed by the Danish authority that it has been informed by the Danish tissue bank European Sperm Bank (DK257572) that donor-8937 FREJ has been diagnosed with type-1 diabetes. The donor's phenotype is consistent with classic type 1 diabetes and there is no suspected MODY (juvenile-onset diabetes). None of his relatives or donor children have been diagnosed with this condition.
The donor gametes of this donor have already been permanently blocked.
