The Federal Office for Safety in Health Care was informed by the Danish authority that it had been informed by the Danish tissue bank European Sperm Bank (DK257572) that COSTA IVA (isovaleric acidemia) had been reported in one of the donor's offspring 26006.
The donor has been permanently blocked.

This letter corresponds to the current information status of the BASG. Further information will be provided as soon as it becomes available.
