Dengue - Italy New

The Federal Office for Safety in Health Care (BASG) has been informed by the Italian authorities that a confirmed human dengue case has been recorded in Albinea (province of Reggio Emilia, Emilia-Romagna region).

We therefore ask you to take this into account in your medical history interviews and donor selections.

This letter corresponds to the current information status of the BASG. Further information will be provided as soon as it is available.
