Chikungunya - France New

The Federal Office for Safety in Health Care (BASG) has been informed by the French authorities that a confirmed human case of chikungunya has been recorded in France. The two possible places of infection are in Paris and in the neighboring town of Gennevillier (Département Hauts-de-Seine), both in the Ile-de-France region.
We therefore ask you to take this into account when taking medical histories and selecting donors.
